Dr. Polo is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and is originally from central Illinois. During veterinary school, he was a member of the Phi Zeta Veterinary Honors Society, the president of the Illinois Veterinary Business Management Association, and was awarded the AAHA Award for Proficiency in Primary Care.
Dr. Polo is especially interested in advanced pain management, anesthesia, emergency medicine, and forming multigenerational relationships with clients and their pets.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his Australian Cattle Dog, Raven, playing board games with friends, and reading classic books.
