Veterinarians
Barry Foster, DVM
 |
Doctor Foster has been practicing Veterinary Medicine since 1990, and has been at Eagle Creek Animal Clinic since 1991. He graduated from Purdue University in 1990. Doctor Foster and his wife Julie have two children: Elizabeth and Evelyn.
They also have a cat named Tiger Lily, and a husky-mix dog named Gus. Dr. Foster’s interests away from the clinic include spending time with his family, photography, hiking, home-brewing and fishing.

Kristen Allen, DVM

Doctor Allen has been with Eagle Creek Animal Clinic since graduating from veterinary school at Purdue University in June of 1998. Dr. Allen lives on the Westside of Indianapolis with her family which includes 2 dogs (Leo and Buck) and 3 cats (Ruby, Eddie, and Lucy). Outside of the clinic, Dr. Allen enjoys cooking, taking the dogs hiking and traveling whenever the opportunity arises. |
Dr. Allen is also on the Board of Directors of ICAN: Indiana Canine Assistant Network. ICAN trains assistant dogs in correctional facilities to be placed with Indiana residents living with physical disabilities.
Sarah Shaffer, DVM

Doctor Shaffer originates from the south side of Indianapolis. She recently completed her college education at Purdue University and graduated with her DVM in May 2007. Her favorite aspect of veterinary medicine is developing a relationship with her patients and maintaining their health and happiness. Areas of special interests include small animal surgery and internal medicine. She resides on the west side of Indianapolis with her husband, David. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Shaffer enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active in her church, playing board games, sports, scrap booking, and cooking. |
James Rademaker, DVM

Dr. Rademaker, our newest addition, is the son of a veterinarian from Fort Wayne. Since he completed Veterinary School in May of 2008, he is excited to be part of the Indianapolis community along with his wife who is a teacher with Indianapolis Public Schools. Dr. Rademaker enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling with his wife, and writing poetry. His interests within veterinary medicine include small animal surgery, internal medicine, and veterinary dentistry.

Jim Baughn, DVM
 |
Doctor Baughn graduated from the Purdue University School of Medicine in 1969.
He has practiced small animal medicine and surgery on the Westside of Indianapolis since 1972. He established Eagle Creek Animal Clinic (at its current location) in 1981.
Many of Doctor Baughn’s first clients, form 15-18 years ago, continue to trust the Eagle Creek Animal Clinic for their pet’s health care.
Doctor Baughn has also lived on the Westside for the past 28 years, raising a family of three children. Doctor Baughn enjoys the challenge and diversity that comes with small animal practice.

In 2007, Dr. Baughn passed the reigns of the clinic to Dr. Foster to prepare for his retirement. Dr. Baughn will retire in late 2007, which will allow him more time to spend with his family and grandchildren, do-it-yourself projects, yard work, and fishing.

Patient Services Team
- A.J. Falls
| A.J. is our Registered Veterinary Technician. She has been working here since 1995. She graduated from Purdue University in 1991. A.J. has an Australian Shepard named Aussie and nine cats (Ares, Athena, Calisto, Chiang, Hera, Loki, Molly, Pandora, Zeus). She also owns Bastet Cat Care and Sitting and works for ICAN. |
- Nicole Peterson
| Nicole has been at Eagle Creek since 2000. She is originally from New Jersey. She is also an Technician assistant who is part of our surgical team, overseeing our surgical procedures and recovery. She has three cats (Daisy Jane, Emily, and Oscar). In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, crafts and nature. |
- Tonya Austin
| Tonya Austin is one of our Technician assistant who is part of our surgical team, overseeing our surgical procedures and recovery. Not only does she assist the doctor's with patient care she also is responsible for our surgical and hospitalized patients. Tonya has been at our clinic since 2002, when she started as a receptionist. She has two pugs (Maddy and Magnum), two boxers (Vinny and Penny) and a cat, Hemi. |
- Stephanie Meissner
| Stephanie is a Registered Veterinary Technician (R.V.T.). She graduated from Friends university in Kansas with a Bachelors in Zoo Science and received her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology from Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology in Denver, Colorado. She comes to us with more than 8 years of experience as a R.V.T. We are glad to have her on our team. |
- Sinead Taylor
| Sinead is one of our technician assistants . She has been a part of our staff since 2006. She has two dogs: a shepard mix named Joe and a labrador mix named Meg. Sinead is from Scotland and is a great asset to our clinic. |
- Melissa Gammon
| Melissa is a technician assistant. She joined our team in August 2007. She has been a great addition to our staff. She has two cats named Slim Shady and Bob-A-Reno and a dog named Mannix. |
- Andrea Donsbach
| Andrea is a recent addition to Eagle Creek and we are excited. Andrea is a technician assistant who comes to us with great experience. Andrea has 5 cats, 5 parakeets, 2 dogs, and 1 guinea pig. She fosters kittens until homes are found for them. In her spare time, Andrea knits, reads, and cares for all her pets at home. Working with animals has enriched her life greatly and she loves working at Eagle Creek. |
- Alex Brinley
| Alex is a technician assistant. He joined our team in 2007, coming to us with six years of prior experience. |
- Barbara Stuck
| Barbara Stuck is a technician assistant at Eagle Creek. She is a student at Indiana Business College where she is currently pursuing an education to be a veterinary technician. |
- Katie Faulkner
Katie is a veterinary technician assistant. She also is attending Indiana Business College, pursuing her career as a Registered Veterinary Technician. |
Client Services Team
- Lisa Honea
| Lisa is a receptionist for Eagle Creek and has been with us since 1989. From time to time, she also is an exam room technician. She has a laborador retriever named Yoshi, a soft coated wheaten terrier named Katie, as well as two cats (Oliver and Thumper). |
- Esther Dubiel
| Esther Dubiel has been working at Eagle Creek since 1999. She works primarily as a receptionist, but is able to work as an exam room technician also. She has 3 dachshunds (Wiggles, Snuggles, and Tucker) as well as 2 cats (Sophie and Sammie). |
- Jackie Magill
| Jackie is a receptionist and has been here since 2006. She is a great member of our client service team. Jackie has a labrador named Gus. |
- Nichole Burgoyne
| Nichole has joined our team as a receptionist and couldn’t be better suited. Her outgoing personality and ability to help clients quickly and efficiently has made her a great asset to our clinic. |
Office Manager
- Susie Crockett
| Susie Crockett is the Office Manager and has been with Eagle Creek since 2006. She came with practice management experience working for a clinic in Lafayette for seven years. She graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors degree in Organizational Communication in 2006. She is currently working towards becoming a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager. |
Financial Coordinator
- Louwanna Jackson
| Louwanna has been part of our team since 1999. She started as a receptionist and is now our Financial Manager. She has a labrador named Ellie and three cats: Heidi, Molly and Sampson. She also has a cockateil named Spike. |
